Original Contemporary Jazz

Paul Colombo Group is an original music contemporary jazz band based in Southeast/Central Pennsylvania,USA. They have repeatedly headlined the Allen Theatre and performed at Mt. Gretna Arts Fest, Harrisburg Arts Fest, and Andrea’s Jazz Cafe among other events and venues. The Group consists of the most accomplished working musicians in Central PA. 

Paul Colombo Group has released two records to great reviews, Mabrouka (2025) and Rio Crystal (2021). The music is original contemporary jazz with the majority of the material written by Paul Colombo. 

Paul Colombo Group's music is a combination of jazz styles: swing, latin, funk, fusion, ballads, African inspired, second line, and some free playing. The group consists of Paul Colombo  (guitar and compositions), Kirk Reese (keyboards), Andy Alonso (bass), and Chris Lōser (drums). Ron Thomas plays keyboards on the recordings. The players are seasoned professionals having performed in such places as The Mann Center in Philadelphia, Trenton War Memorial, Hershey Theatre, and with The Baltimore Symphony, and Peter Nero and The Philly Pops.
